What are the summer zodiac signs?
Cancer, Leo and Virgo. Cancer runs 21 June to 22 July, Leo 23 July to 22 August, and Virgo 23 August to 22 September, in the northern hemisphere. The boundaries move by a day some years, because the solstice and equinox drift against the calendar.
Why are there three summer zodiac signs and not one?
Because summer is not one set of conditions. It opens at the solstice with maximum light, peaks in sustained heat, and ends with the first signs of contraction. Three different problems, so three different strategies.
Which summer sign is the strongest?
None of them, and that is the point. Cancer without Leo never gets expressed. Leo without Virgo burns through the resources. Virgo without Cancer has nothing worth protecting. You need all three, and most people are naturally good at one.
What if I do not have any summer placements?
You still live through summer every year, and the stretch just runs quieter for you. That is a schedule rather than a gap, and it is exactly what the Season Map maps.
Do the summer zodiac signs change in the southern hemisphere?
The dates do not. The climate underneath them does, which is a genuine limitation of reading the signs seasonally, and I would rather say so than pretend the framework works identically everywhere.
