Libra decan 2 is the middle ten days of Libra season, and it is where the scales stop being a metaphor. Saturn is the sub-ruler. Saturn does not let you hold two options indefinitely.
If your birthday falls between about 3 October and about 13 October, this is your decan. If it is not, this is still a stretch everybody moves through, and it is the part of autumn where the postponed choices come due.

What the year is actually doing

The failure mode, said plainly
Saturn turns fairness into a ledger. Venus supplies an endless awareness of what everybody is owed. Put those together with no relief valve and you get a person quietly keeping score of every imbalance and never mentioning a single one until it becomes a verdict.
The distinction that matters: a standard you state out loud is a boundary. A standard you keep privately and score people against is a trap, and it is a trap you built. Same Saturn, opposite outcome.
Fair is not the thing that makes everybody comfortable. Fair is the thing you can still defend in November.

The sun reached 10 degrees of Libra on Saturday 3 October at 12:44am Eastern and crossed 20 degrees on Tuesday 13 October at 3:51am, which closed the decan.
Venus turned retrograde two and a half hours in
The decan opened at 12:44am on 3 October. Venus, the ruler of the whole sign, stationed retrograde at 3:15am the same morning, at 8 degrees 29 of Scorpio. Two hours and thirty one minutes.
Libra’s own ruler went backwards at almost the exact moment the decision decan opened, and stayed that way for the rest of the season and most of November. If you wanted a year that made the case for Libra decan 2 being about deciding without the usual reassurance, that is it.
Then the sun met Saturn head on
On Sunday 4 October at 8:29am, the sun opposed Saturn at 11 degrees 18, Libra to Aries. The decan’s own sub-ruler, exactly opposite the sun, on the second day of the decan. Saturn oppositions are the ones where the limit is not theoretical any more.
The new moon then landed on Saturday 10 October at 11:50am, at 17 degrees 22 of Libra, which is inside this decan with three days left on it. A beginning arriving in the decision stretch, with the sign’s ruler retrograde. That is a specific set of conditions and it is not a comfortable one.

Three jobs, not three grades. This is the one people are least likely to guess is Libra, because a Libra who will not move off a position does not match the stereotype, and the stereotype was only ever the first decan.
